2023 DreamLeague Season 20 Odds and Preview

Unleashing Unforgettable Esports Battles

ESL Pro Tour’s second event of 2023, the DreamLeague Season 20, will follow the same format and prize pool as DreamLeague Season 19. As previously done, teams will compete online, though participants will be flown to Europe to play on the same server.

The DreamLeague Season 20 will be held on June 11th – 25th, 2023. This compact circuit spans two weeks and begins right after the Dota Pro Circuit concludes.

This will be the last stop before the Bali Major. Fans can have a hint of how teams will perform at the Bali Major and see who to watch for their DOTA2 betting odds. The DreamLeague Season 20 and the Bali Major are the last events before The International 2023, TI12.

Here’s everything you need to know about the DreamLeague Season 20!

DreamLeague Season 20 Teams

In the past, DOTA2 fans have often expressed outrage over tournaments that invite undeserving teams. For instance, ESL asked Alliance and Nigma Galaxy to Malaysia in 2022 despite underperforming throughout the season. As such, ESL revamped its World Rankings system for DOTA to an improved EPT Ranking System.

DreamLeague Season 20 invites sixteen of the best DOTA2 teams, which includes the two-time consecutive Major champion, Gaimin Gladiator! Here are the sixteen teams and their betting odds to top Season 20.

Teams to Watch

Gaimin Gladiators have won two Majors in a row and will look to add a third to their belt. However, when it comes to DOTA2 betting odds, they are different from the team to watch.

There are three teams every esports bettor should watch at the DreamLeague Season 20! Those teams are Team Liquid and PSG.LGD, and Shopify Rebellion.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid’s most recent results in WEU’s DPC have yet to impress. Sure, the team defeated some of the best in the region, but it also lost more games than most people expected. Nevertheless, no one can deny that Nisha and his squad are one of the DreamLeague Season 20 favorites.

Team Liquid will be in Group A, where it will bet on a few other teams that can also be among the potential winners. It won’t be easy for the squad to stand out, but it has what it takes, so we can’t wait to see if it will meet the expectations. Remember that only four teams will survive from each group, so Team Liquid must step up its game.

PSG.LGD

The Chinese Dota 2 teams are on a different level than their Western counterparts, at least in the last few months. Nevertheless, there is one exception because of PSG.LGD is one of the few that can compete with the best. Therefore, it is among the DreamLeague Season 20 favorites.

LGD is in Group A, where only four teams will advance to the event’s next stage. It definitely won’t be easy, but this will be a good training session for the Bali Major, starting just a few days after the end of DreamLeague Season 20.

Shopify Rebellion

Shopify Rebellion is the only North American Dota 2 team with some chance of defeating the other DreamLeague Season 20 favorites. We’ve seen that this squad has the power to win events, so we weren’t surprised that some of the leading gambling websites provide good odds.

Shopify Rebellion achieved the best possible rests in the North American DPC. The team finished without dropping a single game in all seven series. This is impressive, even for a Dota 2 region without the best teams.
