One of the fiercest rivalries in European football is Le Classique between Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille. Two of France’s most successful clubs will face off once again on Sunday with added title implications. PSG enter the match five points ahead of second-placed Marseille but OM can open the door to a title challenge with a win. Just as PSG and Marseille are challenging for the title, Monaco and Lens are battling for a Champions League place. We’ll look at the Ligue 1 Matchday 25 odds from all these teams’ matches.

Marseille vs PSG

This is the third and final Le Classique of the season. PSG defeated Marseille 1-0 in the reverse fixture as Neymar scored the game’s only goal. A few weeks ago, Marseille defeated PSG 2-1 in the Coupe de France round of 16. Now, the Coupe de France betting odds price Marseille as +225 joint-favorites.
This match is the most important of all, though, with title race implications. Marseille have just one loss in their last 12 Ligue 1 matches, while PSG have lost three times since the start of 2023. This match should be incredibly competitive and is currently a pick’em. PSG come in at -130 odds to cover, while hosts Marseille show even odds.
PSG have been hounded by injuries as of late and Neymar is expected to miss this match with an ankle injury. The Parisians’ backline could also be thin as Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi and Nordi Mukiele are listed as day-to-day. Regardless, PSG are +140 moneyline favorites and Marseille aren’t far behind, at +175.
Just one of the last 12 meetings, in all competitions, have finished in a draw but a deadlock displays +265 odds here. OM defender Samuel Gigot, who got red carded in the reverse fixture, is out for the match due to injury. Marseille and PSG have both won three of their last five Ligue 1 games but OM lost their last home match to Nice.
While Marseille dropped their last home match, PSG have won just one of their last four on the road. The Parisians also needed a second half comeback to defeat Lille last Sunday in a 4-3 thriller. Kylian Mbappe got on the scoresheet twice, which was a very welcome sight after returning from an injury.
Meanwhile, Marseille have won their last two matches and are on an 12-game Ligue 1 scoring streak. Goals are expected to be relatively difficult to come by in Sunday’s match, as under three goals sit at -135 odds. Six of the last seven meetings between these two sides have been won by a one-goal margin or finished in a draw. So, expect another fiery match.

Montpellier vs Lens

RC Lens ended a four-game winless run last Sunday by defeating Nantes 3-1. Lens have dropped out of the Champions League places in recent weeks but are still just one point behind third-placed Monaco.
Lens head to Montpellier on Saturday needing all three points once again but road matches have been rough for them lately. They haven’t won away from home since November. Still, Lens enter this match as ½-goal favorites and show -125 ATS and moneyline Ligue 1 Matchday 25 odds.
Montpellier enter the weekend in just 12th place but have won their last two matches. Granted, those two wins were vs. Troyes and Brest, two teams in or near the relegation zone. Plus, Teji Savanier got a red card in Montpellier’s last match and will be out due to suspension.
It’s a big loss for Montpellier, as Savanier is their joint-leading scorer. Forward Stephy Mavdidi is also day-to-day. Montpellier +½ is priced at -105 odds, while the hosts also come in at +350 moneyline odds. Last season, Montpellier won this fixture at home but Lens have won three of the last four meetings. A draw also sits at +260 odds for Saturday’s match.
With two straight shutout wins, Montpellier will hope their defensive form carries over. Only three teams have conceded more goals than them this season, though. They also have just a 4-1-7 home record this season. Lens got on the scoresheet three times last weekend but under 2½ goals come in at -120 odds.
Nantes vs. Rennes

Rennes and Nantes both played Europa League matches on Thursday. Nantes lost 3-0 vs. Juventus as Angel di Maria scored a hat trick. Nantes are now out of the competition but are still in the Coupe de France.
Meanwhile, Rennes heartbreakingly lost in penalties to Shakhtar Donetsk. In extra time it looked like Rennes had grabbed the winner but they conceded a very late equalizer on an own goal. Reeling from losses, Nantes and Rennes will face off on Sunday on just two days of rest each.
The Ligue 1 betting odds price Stade Rennes as +110 ATS and moneyline road favorites. Rennes easily won the reverse fixture, 3-0 but have not won at Nantes since 2019. Rennes have also been disappointing on the road this season. They have Ligue 1’s best home record, at 11-2, but are just 2-4-5 on the road.
Notably, Nantes have lost just twice at home and do show -140 odds to draw or win the match. They also come in at +250 odds to get their third home win over Rennes in the last four seasons.
In addition to Rennes playing an incredibly draining match on Thursday, they’ve got some key injuries. Martin Terrier is out for the season, while defender Hamari Traore is still working his way back from a calf issue. With both sides on short rest, a draw shows relatively short +230 odds for Sunday’s match.
Notably, Rennes have scored in every Ligue 1 match since their first match of the season. While Rennes are one of the league’s highest-scoring teams, Nantes have averaged just over a goal per game. This isn’t expected to be a very high-scoring match as under 2½ goals come in at -140 odds.
Monaco vs Nice

Ligue 1’s two hottest teams meet on Sunday as Monaco host Nice in the Derby de la Côte d’Azur. Monaco haven’t lost a Ligue 1 match since the World Cup. They’re currently on a four-game winning streak in Ligue 1 but lost in the Europa League on penalties on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Nice have kept shutouts in five of their last six Ligue 1 matches. They’ve won four of their last five games and are on a seven-match unbeaten run since Didier Digard took over as caretaker manager. With both teams in excellent form, the Ligue 1 Matchday 25 odds list Monaco as ½-goal home favorites. They come in at -110 ATS and moneyline odds after a draining extra time match.
Both teams have gained 13 points in their last five Ligue 1 matches, which is more than any other team during that span. The best defensive record in the league also belongs to Nice, who have conceded under 0.9 goals per game. Nice head into this rivalry match as -120 ATS favorites but show just +285 odds to win the match.
Their turnaround has been remarkable to see as they gained just 13 points in their first 12 Ligue 1 matches. Since then, they’ve averaged over two points per game and lost just once since October. Billal Brahimi and Gaetan Laborde have come up huge for Nice since Nicolas Pepe’s injury.
Monaco did win the reverse fixture 1-0, though. They’re also unbeaten in the last six meetings. Monaco have averaged over 2.5 goals per game since 2023 started, while Nice have conceded under 0.5 goals per game in that time. Over 2½ goals come in at -120 odds regardless. A draw would extend both teams’ unbeaten streaks and shows +265 odds for this match.
