MLS Week 13 Games Analysis

Breaking Down MLS Week 13 Games

Rivalry Week in MLS did not disappoint! Nearly every match was as exciting as the last. Whether it was the two red cards in the Seattle and Houston match, Timbers’ new boy getting a brace, or a bench-clearing brawl in Colorado! MLS never seems to disappoint, and we can’t wait to see what MLS Games Week 13 Analysis brings us!

We will have two MLS articles going out this week since MLS Week 13 matches are on Wednesday, and MLS Week 14 will be on Saturday.

Current MLS Standings

While the tables did not change much, a few results could render some damage depending on how MLS Week 13 goes. The Seattle Sounders stay on the top of the West, but LACF is hot on their tails with a game in hand. Interestingly enough, the Portland Timbers continue to climb the table but could face a drop if the teams below get a result.

In the East, New England lost its second game of the MLS season to Inter Miami, giving FC Cincinnati a chance to jump into first place. However, despite getting knocked out of CCL, the Philadelphia Union will continue its upward trajectory and look to leap into the top four.

Key MLS Week 13 Matches

Rivalry Week in MLS brought us so many thrilling matches we didn’t want it to stop! We can expect even more excitement with MLS Week 13 playing on a Wednesday! This is a short week, so it’s best to get in on the bets now while you can!

For those betting on MLS this week, there are two critical matches every bettor should watch in Week 13. Those matches are FC Cincinnati vs CF Montreal and Seattle Sounders vs Austin FC.

CIN FC Cincinnati vs CF Montreal CFM

Date & Time:

The Eastern Conference matchup between Cincinnati and Montreal could make or break for both teams. FC Cincinnati can jump to the top of the East with a win and be three points clear at the top. Montreal has been on an incredible run after starting the season at the bottom of the table. Depending on other results, they could break the top four with a result. For the drama, our bet is on CF Montreal this week.

SEASeattle Sounders vs Austin FC AUS

Date & Time:

Despite last week’s late win, the Sounders have not been in the best form. They have struggled to create anything but can still grind out a win. They are still atop of the West, but LAFC is behind them with two games in hand. Austin FC will look for another result against one of the Cascadia teams. After a disappointing loss to rivals FC Dallas, they will need a pick-me-up before things start going downhill. Betting on the draw will be the best bet for this match.
